POST MITCH UP-DATE

Dear F(f)riends,

Just a quick note to thank all of you who sent notes of concern, held us
in the Light and kept us in your prayers during the MITCH ordeal.

We are greatful that we were spared and of course feel deeply saddened
by the plight of our neighbors to the South.

Having lost evrything in Andrew in 1992, I know what they are going
through. It will take years to recover.

Here in Belize, things are pretty much back to normal (whatever that
is), at least on the surface. Our building suffered only minor
damage...the old gutters took a pretty hard beating and will have to be
replaced when we can get the money together. Our biggest loss was the
loss of income due to being closed for over a week. We evacuated to the
hills in Cayo and I got stuck up there due to flooded roads for about 5
days. I figure our losses will come to about $4000, but our faith is
strong and we will make it somehow. 

Now all I hae to do is to catch up on answering a huge stack of e-mail
messages. Just sorting out those that need immediate attention is a
major chore.

Again, thank you all for caring and we hope to see many of you down here
soon. (We can use the business...send your friends too!)

We wish you all a happy holiday season which is now upon us.
