one step forward and a dozen steps back

Still very undecided about blogging.

Today in my blog mailbox, I have seen one person wondering about adding killfiling to his RSS aggregator. Another describing how he writes some notes before opening a web browser to write a new post, in case the browser crashes or he forgets what he was going to say before he gets to the submit page. Another announcing google's service which lets you search blog posts. And another doing the 2005 equivilant of double sigging (in html, natch).

I guess that reimplementing solved problems like email filtering, proper text editing, and kibo-grep is as good a way as any other to use our time, but it all seems a bit pointless to me.
