David Peter Livingstone

David Peter Livingstone (aka Living, Levinge, and perhaps Livitch, Levidge, etc) was from Kinnettles in Angus, although a record of his baptism has not been found. He emigrated to Australia in 1838 on the Portland, after having married Lily Melrose in Canongate, Edinburgh, that same year. His family are thought to have been present in Glamis for many generations before the 19th century.
