Playing in the Light
A Godly Play Workshop
Presenters: Melinda Wenner Bradley and Michael Gibson, Friends General Conference

Are you looking for a dynamic approach to religious education and the Bible that is open-ended and that honors the spiritual lives of children?

Are you looking for a curriculum for children between the ages of 3 and 12 that offers consistency, meaningful engagement and rick pay-off to both teachers and children?

Are you looking for material that can also be used effectively
in multigenerational settings?

We are convinced the Montessori-inspired approach known as Godly Play is all of these and more, and we are excited about it!

This is not a method one can run with just from reading a lesson plan or from seeing a demonstration. Godly Play requires considerable training, and the Atlanta Friends Meeting is sponsoring this affordable, local workshop. Teachers and parents are welcome!
