Dear Friend,
Each year Pendle Hill offers events designed to strengthen Quaker meetings and support the spiritual lives of Friends. Would you be willing to let Friends know about the events below on your website, through email, and/or in a print newsletter? We encourage Friends to apply for our matching scholarships and to register with others from the meeting to get a "bring-a-friend" discount. Thank you!
Pendle Hill, a Quaker study, retreat, and conference center in Wallingford, PA, offers programs throughout the year on Quaker faith, practice, history, and spirituality. Matching scholarships and "bring-a-friend" discounts are available for most programs to help enable Friends to attend; contact us well in advance of the event. Limited to 12 people, this workshop is for those who have some experience with clerking and want to deepen their understanding of clerking and Friends decision-making with other clerks. Those who have participated in this smaller workshop in the last two years have been enthusiastic about the more intimate space and opportunities for connecting that small group sharing and interaction creates. Before the workshop, there will be an opportunity to identify particular issues or concerns from your experience as a clerk to share with others.
