Dear Friends,
A gentle reminder to be alert to whom your message is going when you
reply to a message on the list serve (SAYMA-Announce or SAYMA-Discuss.)
Depending on your email client (that is the program or website you use
to read your email,) "reply" may go to the the list serve instead of the
sender. "Reply-all" will go to the list serve and the sender and
possibly other people the sender copied.
Replying to the list serve when you mean only to reply to the sender
results in a lot of unnecessary traffic on the list serve. If
necessary, start a new message only to the sender.
