Dear SAYMA Friends,

The Friends Committee on National Legislation asks for your monthly
meeting's participation in setting legislative priorities—this time for the
116th Congress incoming in 2019. All Friends Meetings are invited and
encouraged to participate in this grassroots discernment process that will
ultimately guide the efforts of FCNL staff.

You may have received a printed packet of documents related to the
priority-setting process, but those materials are also available online:

At the link above you will find:

·      An explanation of how the priorities process works;

·      "The World We Seek," FCNL’s policy statement;

·      The current priorities that were set for the 115th Congress;

· An invitation to participate in a *January 25* conference call on
the priorities process.

Priorities lists can be submitted electronically or on paper and need to be
received by *April 13, 2018*.

Your SAYMA representatives to FCNL will engage in the discernment process
for legislative priorities, representing you, at the annual meeting in

Should you have questions about the process or your Meeting’s part in it,
please feel free to contact one of us.

Peace and Light,
