IMP ^o^ Bulletin 005 - Time for Committee Meetings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(From draft Proceedings & Minutes, Yearly Meeting #29, June 11-13, 1999,
Willard Vaughn, Recording Clerk)
Ministry and Nurture
Edie Patrick [Committee Co-Clerk] read the following request:
The SAYMA Ministry and Nurture Committee requests that the Yearly Meeting
Planning Committee designate at least a two hour block of time early in the
Yearly Meeting during which all Yearly Meeting standing committees may meet.
Ministry and Nurture also asks that the meeting times be printed in the
schedule.
AA's note:  the concern for adequate time for committees to meet and work
was further discussed during the Yearly Meeting Planning Committee's
"wrap-up session" before leaving Warren Wilson.
AA's note:  SAYMA Clerk Penny Wright and the office are actively looking
into the possibility of holding committee meetings on the eve of Rep
Meetings (Friday).
