Williamsburg (VA) Friends Meeting is holding a workshop
featuring Chuck Fager & Ann Riggs
dedicated to advancing the peace agenda over the long-haul
on Friday & Saturday, 27/28 February 04.
We know it may be a long way to travel,

"BUILDING A COMMUNITY THAT CAN SUSTAIN PEACE WORK OVER THE LONG HAUL"
an interfaith workshop  with  Chuck Fager, Director, Quaker House,
Fayetteville, NC &
Ann Riggs, Director for Faith & Order, National Council of Churches USA,
will take place on Friday evening, 27February04 (6pm potluck; 7-9
keynote talks) & Saturday day, 28February04 (9h30am-4pm).  Co-sponsored
by the Williamsburg Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends
(Quakers), & the Community of Faith for Peace of Williamsburg, this
workshop will offer participants a rich mix of presentations and
small-group work toward developing strategies for waging and maintaining
peace.

Workshop details are available at www.cf4p.org.   The event will be held
at the Wesley Foundation of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church,
526 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, VA.  While reservations are required,
