Welcome to the MacLea Lab at UNH-Manchester!

Examining some of biology’s intriguing questions while helping to train tomorrow’s scientists, doctors, and citizens.

I work hard to help train the next generation of scientists and health care professionals, as well as students seeking scientific literacy while training towards another goal.  What drives me is the chance to excite undergraduate students
about the fascinating world around us.

I joined the University of New Hampshire at Manchester as an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences in 2014.  In 2015, we created a new B.S. in Biotechnology and I currently teach in both the Biology and Biotechnology programs.

“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were.
But without it we go nowhere.”
