Zach Window was awarded a NH-EPSCoR REU grant to study soil microbiomes with me during summer 2015!  Nice work!

Bruce Rheaume is presenting a poster as the ASM General Meeting in 2015 on his sequencing of Idiomarina abyssalis.  Congrats, Bruce!

A paper I published in 2015 catalogs what weve learned recently about prion propagation:

MacLea, K.S., Paul, K.R., Ben-Musa, Z., Waechter, A., Shattuck, J.E., Gruca, M., and Ross, E.D.  Distinct amino acid compositional requirements for formation and maintenance of the [PSI+] prion in yeast.  Mol Cell Biol, 35(5):899-911. doi: 10.1128/MCB.01020-14, 2015.

In 2013 we published a paper (including myself and collaborator Eric D. Ross as authors) that links human disease with our study of yeast prions in the international scientific journal Nature.  We are very proud of the findings and excited to share them with the scientific community!
